If you go to any aquarium up there, you'll see exhibits of mermaids... and skeletons of mermaids. At least that's what I've heard.

[He shakes his head and leans against the wood.]

[And something he can't really answer, either, one way or another. Tsuna can't remember the last time he'd been to an aquarium, or read about it. For a moment, he wonders what he'd find if he did do research. Surely no one would do anything to something that's half human, that can talk, would they?]

Wasn't there anyone you knew from before?

I have no idea if they're still floating around up there... I left for safety very quickly.

[He chuckled and moved up a bit to peck him on the nose.]

[It's hard to say if it's the compliment or the nose kiss that makes Tsuna squeak in surprise, flailing backwards and crashing onto the floor of the boat. As it shakes, he tries to sit up again.]

[Grimsley still has the boat steady and he grins, looking at Tsuna.]

Sorry, did I surprise you?

[Still a bit pink, he rubs at his face.]

Is... Is that a normal thing your race does to strangers?

[He grins and moves a bit closer.]

[He chuckles and moves to rest his arms up on the platform.]

[Still a little flustered, he readjusts himself.]

[He flails a little.]

I don't know, but I don't want you to get hurt somehow, even by accident!

[He smiles.]

Are you sure there's enough for you to live here alright?

I've been living here so far... you wouldn't believe what some people leave on the beach for food.

I promise I'm fine. But if you want to stop by every day to check on me, I'd appreciate it.

That can't be healthy for you, to just eat junk that's been left on the beach!

I eat plenty of other things too. Don't worry, like I said.

….I’m not sure how to not worry. Do you want me to bring you some food now and then?

[He chuckles, splashing a bit of water onto the boat.]

[Tsuna jerks back from the water with a startled noise.]

Ah- you’d want to see me again?

Of course! Why wouldn't I?

[He grins, his tail splashing about in the water.]

[That’s a good question, and he flounders for a moment trying to explain.]

I…. guess I just wasn’t expecting it. This sort of thing doesn’t seem like it’s supposed to happen to me.
