Yawning, he rolled away slightly, putting his feet on the floor. Swearing slightly at the chill of it, he wrapped the blanket around him like a cape again, seemingly unaware or uncaring he was leaving the priest without it as he shuffled slowly back to the kitchen. Tea he could make, and that might do something about his chill and the priest's grogginess.]
[If there's one good thing about the demon's blanket theft, it's that it forces Chikusa to get up and just in time for the alarm to go off. Taking care of that, he sleepily trails behind Mukuro.]
And I'm grateful for it priest. I'll pay back the favor when I learn more about cooking.
[Which he was in no real hurry to learn, since it seemed like the priest would dote on him regardless of his mood. The kick to the chair and then the priest heading towards the cupboards was proof of that, and it got a small, soft chuckle out of Mukuro.
The priest's grumblings was only met with a yawn as Mukuro curled up further into the blankets, retracting his feet so that they were underneath him.]

[Still, he should probably head home and change clothes and attend to his affairs.]

Not to mention his affairs were still in disarray after his absence for a few months. A week didn't seem like a good enough timeline to get everything back into order only to leave again, but Mukuro was nothing if not efficient and talented.]
[And here he was certain that he'd be the first one done, with the demon taking his sweet time to vex him as usual... Chikusa blinks a little in surprise as the demon actually goes to do the dishes, pausing in his own meal.]

[Sure enough, the week passes by uneventfully with him taking care of everything that's necessary from his lease to the apartment plants to packing. Yet he still can't help but be nervous as he picks up the phone one morning, outside with his car packed with enough clothing and religious items to last him along with some food for the road. Taking a breath, he pulls out his phone.]
[The week passed far too quickly for Mukuro's tastes. A few of his plots had advanced in organic and interesting new ways, but along the parameters he had set for them. A few though, had strayed disastrously. He managed to salvage a few, but for ever plot that he righted back on course, another one had to be shelved. He had been far too careless and emotional when he had went out to slay demons for an unspecified time, and the out of character act frustrated him. Some of those plans had been in the works for years now, and because of an unspecified possible danger to Chikusa Kakimoto, all of his hard work had been burned to the ground.
Having to sleep and eat proved to be a large time sink as well, and Mukuro had forgotten he could lose consciousness if he avoided sleep. He had almost forgotten why he was on such a mad time crunch to get all of his affairs in order when he saw the priest's name flash across his phone.
A good 34% of his plans still needed to be tidied up, but he supposed he could tend to them on the road when the priest was busy working. Quickly, he started gathering clothes and necessities, texting the priest back quickly.]

[Maybe he had time to throw himself into the shower if that was the case...]

[He's going to be spending a good part of his day stuck inside a confined space with the demon- best to make sure he's fed and not inclined to distraction with his favorite target being Chikusa himself. It's why he's made sure to pack a few other things in his car as well.]
[So no need to waste money. Excellent. With that decided, Chikusa gets into his car and starts to head to the demon's apartment. When he gets the follow up text, he doesn't reply- safe driving and all that. Still...]
[...Well, nothing bad happened the last time he was at the demon's apartment. And they're on a time limit. So it'll probably be fine.]
[Because he's polite and wants to cover his bases, he knocks on the door first when he arrives there, waits, and then pokes his head in cautiously.]
[Luckily or unluckily for the priest, Mukuro had just gotten out of the shower, the only bit of clothing he had on were pants that were slung low on his hips and a big fluffy white towel he was using to dry his hair. At the sound of the priest's voice, he smirked wickedly.]
Almost. I'm in the bedroom.
[He doubted the priest would come in to check, but it would be amusing to see what he would do if he did.]
[Yeah, no. Obviously he's not going to fall for that kind of thing, honestly... He'll just wait by the door, leaning against one wall with his arms crossed. He can afford to wait until Mukuro finally gets out. At least for a little bit.]
[When the demon does get out of his room, however, he's in for a pleasant surprise. There, snug around Chikusa's head, is a cute knit hat in a soft cream color to match his sweatshirt and adorned with tiny little orange balls all over it. A fluffy pompom is on the back, matching the ones at the end of the earflap strings.]
Mukuro shrugged on a shirt and jacket before picking up his suitcase. He was finger combing his still damp hair when he caught sight of the priest in a cute hat, eyes widening slightly in surprise. He let out a little laugh despite himself, something warm thudding in his chest as he sauntered forward. Gently, he took one of the flap strings and twined it along his finger, flicking an amused glance up to the priest's face.]
To what do I owe the pleasure?
[Because clearly this was for him. No other explanation was possible.]
[The sight of the demon walking out of his room has Chikusa push himself away from the wall, ready to get them both going without any further delays. Yet, of all things, it's that little laugh which makes him pause. Did that sound different than the other ones...? Before he can deduce that or not, Mukuro is in front of him, and Chikusa's gaze flicks away quietly at the close proximity.]
...I told you.... It's gotten colder, now... So wearing hats is to be expected, isn't it...?
[But there's no point in bickering. Instead, he just follows him out and waits for him to lock his door before they go down to his car. Once inside, Chikusa doesn't start up the engine, but instead points out the cooler he has in his back seat.]
If you get thirsty, I've packed some bottled water and some other drinks in there. Over there- [A point to a large duffel bag.] I've got some fruit, homemade jerky, garlic knots, sandwiches... There's some candy in there, including chocolate, but don't eat too much and get hyper... This is a car ride...
