[Oops, had he slipped? At any rate, he only smiled at the priest innocently enough, taking the gaudy hat covered in stamps as well, putting it on his own head.]

If that's your concern, I'll send them to my apartment instead and bring them over to you.

[He offered his arm again, delicately stuffing another piece of fudge into his mouth.]

[For all that he knows he should be more responsible and annoyed with the demon, it's hard to glower too much when Mukuro puts the hat on his own head. Chikusa has to glance away at that, mouth twisting a little as he keeps from smiling.]

...I think you want the hat more than I do... but this is enough for me.

It would be cuter on you, don't you think?

[Still he wasn't going to deny it, looping their arms back together and going to the counter to pay for everything. Once they were back outside, he turned to the priest, still insufferably smug.]

Should we head back to the car then?

We do have time to make up for indulging your whim.

[Still, as they make their way through the town and over to where he parked the car, he glances down over at Mukuro quietly. It's... hard to say what he wants to, so he leads with something else.]

[Mukuro sent the priest a knowing look. He had been fine with the thought of napping all the way to their destination, after all.

The question was met with a quiet chuckle as Mukuro broke off another piece of fudge, plopping it into his mouth.]

So long as it doesn't interfere with sleeping, I don't see why not.

[More heat stings at his cheeks, and he can't deny it doesn't have much to do with the chill in the air.]

I only wanted to go into the antique store...

[Still, he can't deny that... In some ways, he enjoyed it. Even the kiss, although he knows better than to admit such a thing where the demon can hear it. Opening the door, he waits for Mukuro to come inside before starting it up... and murmuring in the direction of the steering wheel.]

[Honestly, for someone who accused Mukuro of lying all the time, the priest wasn't particularly forthcoming either. Still, he wouldn't press it since the priest looked so cute flushed as he was, and settling back in the car was already making Mukuro sleepy.

Not enough to miss the priest thanking him though, and he turned assessing eyes over to him, mouth quirking up slightly.]

[Does he really have to ask? Chikusa keeps his eyes focused straight on the road, determined not to pay the demon much mind or feed into his almost constant amusement more than he can avoid.]

For... helping with souvenirs. I thought you were going back to sleep?

Oh, just that?

[Mukuro stuck another piece of fudge into his mouth, leaning back into his seat. While sleep was a tempting idea, the thought of teasing the priest was enough to keep him awake.]

Didn't you bring me along to keep you company? Should we play a game?

["Just that" for something that means so much to him... Chikusa bites back a quiet sigh. Typical of a demon. Well, perhaps it's for the better.]

[As they exit the city, he spares a glance at Mukuro.]

What kind of game?

We could play a questions game to get to know each other.

[Or more likely, Mukuro would lie and try to get what he wanted from the priest, what else was new? But then again... He tilted his head to the side, considering.]

[The questions game sounds a lot like what had happened in their dream, which he's about to point out, until Mukuro mentions that other suggestion.]

....I didn't think you had a taste for a game a childish as that.

[Also Mukuro might be a little bit childish but don't tell anyone. Settling in comfortably, Mukuro glanced around at their surroundings, eyes alighting on the blue cooler in the back seat before looking elsewhere to throw off suspicion. Then he turned to the priest, smirking.]

I spy with my little eye something blue.

[Is this really happening right now.]

[...This is really happening right now.]

[If he wasn't the one driving the car, Chikusa would stare at him, but eyes on the road and all of that. He's not going to crash his car before he's even had his first out-of-town exorcism. So all he can do is keep his eyebrows raised before his gaze flits to outside.]

[It really is, enjoy it while it lasts because it wasn't going to amuse Mukuro for now. That being said, that answer was met with a small chuckle.]

No. Should we place a limit on guesses to make the game more interesting?

[All he can do is pray that it lasts long enough... Chikusa frowns a little at the road at the sudden addition.]

It's a bit late to add something, isn't it...?

[Mukuro turned his full attention to the priest, smirking.]

Though if you win this first round, I'll listen to one request of yours.

Is there some sort of consequence if I lose?

[Chikusa glances back at him, raising an eyebrow pointedly. With a demon, it's always good to get everything.]

It would make the game fair and exciting, don't you think?

[He plopped another piece of fudge into his mouth, licking his fingers off generously.]

Perhaps you should listen to a request of mine.

It sounds troublesome...

[But then, that is the existence of the demon in a nutshell. So very troublesome. Driving with one hand, he holds out his palm.]

Pass a sandwich from the cooler, please... And what would your request be?

[But he complied with the request, turning to forage around in the cooler. He also fished out a drink just in case, settling back down in his seat and unwrapping the sandwich like the thoughtful demonic entity he was.]

But if you're concerned, you can set boundaries.

[He held out the sandwich with a small, innocent smile.]

[So something devious and lewd, no doubt. Chikusa accepts the sandwich with only the barest glances, not wanting to take his eyes off of the road for too long. On one hand, he knows better. On the other, the demon will no doubt be a menace without entertainment.]

[That was better than an outright 'no', and pleased, Mukuro leaned back into his seat, canting his head to the side.]

I'll be generous. You can have five guesses. Or should I guess instead?

[Especially because, honestly, Chikusa had assumed that the demon would go smaller just to mess with him. Shifting lanes, he considers what else there could be.]

[What part of 'generous' had been misunderstood? Though if he lost too often and if the consequences were too steep, Mukuro would have to revisit that particular piece of charity.

He canted his head to the side, amused and flattered that would be the first guess.]
