[Perhaps, Faustino thought wryly, he still had quite a bit more to learn from Lancia. And wasn't that exciting in itself? He had always had to be the strongest, when it was just he, Al, and Ciro. If he could be defeated, they would all be killed. It was not just his life that had hung in the balance. That, and his inescapable pride made it so he took great pains never to lose.
But here, in the place he called home even if he never said it out loud, it felt safe to not fight to the death, to fight until he had collapsed and he had used all the resources at his disposal.
So when he took the elbow fully in the chest, Faustino, staggered back, wincing as he felt the bruise already forming.]

[Honestly, he’s glad to take a break himself, stepping back and feeling the ache in his limbs where he’s taken those rapid blows. Really…. This boy is going to be even more of a menace than he was before, now, especially with his illusions at his disposal.]
[And with words like that, it makes Lancia wonders just how lucky he is to have avoided losing. That’s a blatant look, after all- although he’s usually seen it from others on pretty girls passing by. For once, he thinks he knows what it feels like to be in their shoes.]

Or perhaps that was his own wishful thinking, and the fact that his head seemed to be a strange erogenous zone for him.

Good to know- I don’t have to worry about you going to strange people’s houses in the middle of the night. At least not for that.
