His first thought is to look out at the water around the boat, making sure that it isn't just... kicking up again and throwing fish on his boat. But the water, darkening as the sun gets lower in the sky, is just as still as it was when the merman left.
He picks the fish up off the deck, and the most likely source clicks in his mind. Ginko moves back over to the side of the boat and leans over, grinning at the sight of the merman. "--Hey! I didn't think I'd see you again."
