When he did move a little closer, she smiled. Now that she'd actually noticed him, he had become the center of her attention. Maybe because he was the only other person around, or maybe because she was tired of being alone. Either way, she didn't mind him coming closer.

The urge to move closer as well was tempting, but she was trying to be patient and let him come to her.
